I have worked as a therapist for the NHS and now have an established private practice where I offer long and short-term therapy; Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, Counselling, EFT, NLP and Life Coaching to individuals and to couples from the Manchester, Cheshire and Lancashire areas.

During my years as a therapist I have worked with many different clients on issues as diverse as stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, lack of confidence, bereavement, loss, relationship difficulties and breakdowns, addictive disorders such as excessive gambling, smoking, drinking and eating/weight gain and weight loss, panic attacks, blushing, fears, phobias, insomnia, tension, pain control, public speaking, sports performance, childbirth, infertility, menopause and serious illnesses such as cancer, CMT, Polymyositis, heart problems and high blood pressure.

Over the past few years I have worked with Toni, writing and presenting courses and workshops on developing self esteem, confidence, assertiveness and body image.

On a more personal note, I spent many years searching and struggling for new meaning in my life. In the past, although I told myself I enjoyed my working life, underneath I always knew that I was doing the wrong job, but I had a family to provide for so I kept busy and I worked hard.

Eventually there came a time when I just had to make a change and I reached out in a number of different directions before finally beginning my counselling training and that's when I knew I had found my real home.

On my journey I have discovered and learned about so many life changing therapies and techniques and they have helped me to find my path in life and now I look forward to the possibilities of each new day and to working with my clients as they struggle with a bereavement or loss, a problem or a crisis, a fear or a phobia, or simply to find a way forward on their journey of life.

I see life as a continual quest for personal growth and change and hope that I will never lose the desire to learn, to see another point of view, to change my perception, and to share in honesty, warmth and compassion with my clients on their own personal journey.
